Privacy Policy
This is a convenience translation of our German privacy policy. In case of any discrepancy, the German version remains legally binding.
General information on data processing
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to provide a functional website and our content and services. Processing generally takes place only on the basis of a legal permission — in particular on the basis of our legitimate interests (Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR) or to fulfil a legal obligation (Art. 6 (1) (c) GDPR).
This website uses no cookies, no tracking pixels, and embeds no external resources from third-party servers (fonts, scripts, stylesheets). All content is delivered exclusively from the hosting server.
Hosting and content delivery (Cloudflare Pages)
This website is provided via Cloudflare Pages.
Provider: Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA
EU establishment: Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 Munich, Germany
When you access our website, Cloudflare as a technical service provider automatically processes the following data:
- IP address of the requesting device
- Browser type and version
- Date and time of access
- Requested URL
This processing is technically required to deliver the website. We have signed a data processing agreement with Cloudflare in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR (Data Processing Addendum, available at cloudflare.com/cloudflare-customer-dpa).
Third-country transfer to the USA: Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework (DPF) and has signed the EU Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs). Both serve as appropriate safeguards for data transfer to the USA pursuant to Art. 46 GDPR.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the reliable, secure, and performant delivery of this website.
Retention period: For Pages, Cloudflare does not permanently store HTTP request logs by default. Aggregated access data is retained for up to 24 hours. More information: cloudflare.com/privacypolicy
Fonts
All fonts used on this website are served locally from our server. We do not embed Google Fonts or any other externally hosted font service. No connections to external font servers are established when you visit our pages.
Web analytics with Simple Analytics
We use Simple Analytics for statistical evaluation of website usage.
Provider: Simple Analytics B. V., Netherlands
Server location: Netherlands (EU)
Simple Analytics is a privacy-friendly analytics tool that works without cookies. No IP addresses are stored, no fingerprints or cross-device identifiers are created, and no data is shared with third parties. No personal hash value is generated to recognise visitors either. All data is processed and stored exclusively within the EU; no transfer to third countries takes place. The stored data contains no personally identifiable information.
Evaluation is based exclusively on anonymized, aggregated data (e.g., page views, time on site, country of origin, referring page). Attribution to individual persons is not possible.
Because Simple Analytics does not process any personal data, a data processing agreement under Art. 28 GDPR is not required. Simple Analytics nonetheless provides one (simpleanalytics.com/dpa).
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest is the data-protection-friendly analysis of website usage to improve our offering. No consent is required because neither cookies nor comparable technologies for device identification are used (§ 25 TDDDG does not apply).

Contact by email
When you contact us by email, the data you submit (email address, name where provided, message content) is stored to process your request.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to requests) or Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR if the request is aimed at entering into a contract.
Retention period: We delete the data as soon as the request has been processed conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply. For business correspondence, a commercial and tax retention period of up to 10 years applies (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO).
Contact form
Our website uses the form-processing service form.taxi to receive contact inquiries. Provider: TX Studios UG (haftungsbeschränkt), Reuterweg 9, 60323 Frankfurt am Main, Germany. Server and data location: Germany.
When you submit the form, the data you enter (name, email address, message content, and your consent confirmation) is transmitted to form.taxi and forwarded from there to our email address. In addition, form.taxi processes your IP address, timestamp and browser information for spam protection and technical delivery.
We have signed a data processing agreement with form.taxi in accordance with Art. 28 GDPR. More information on data processing by form.taxi: form.taxi/en/privacy.
Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) or Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (legitimate interest in reliable, spam-protected inquiry handling).
Retention period: We delete the transmitted data as soon as your inquiry has been processed conclusively and no statutory retention obligations apply. For business correspondence, a retention period of up to 10 years applies (§ 257 HGB, § 147 AO).
